Maud Watelet

Maud Watelet is active in impact investing as Senior Investment Officer at EDFI-ElectriFI, the Electrification Financing Initiative of the European DFIs association. In this role she is responsible for the origination and structuring of debt and equity investments in early-stage companies committed to increase access to clean energy in developing countries.

She is also an independent non-executive director at Capricorn Partners, the management company of Capricorn VC funds and Quest equity funds.

Prior to that, Watelet worked as a family officer for Belgian investors and was an executive director of Korys Capital, part of Colruyt’s family holding, where she was in charge of the set up of a sustainable investment fund. She also built experience in capital markets, financial regulation and equity analysis at the FSMA and at ING.

Maud holds a Master in Economics from the University of Namur and a Master in Finance from the Solvay Brussels School.
