“Innovate Collaborate. Grow!” is the title of the recent book written by David Dessers for purposes of providing strategic guidance to entrepreneurs, corporates, investors and research institutions on how to structure mutually beneficial collaborations where all stakeholders can come out winning.  David strongly believes that fair, equitable and balanced arrangements are vital to ensure long-term business success, contributing to society as a whole.

According to leading open innovation academics it is the first practical guideline explaining how to structure open innovation and a large variety of collaborative arrangements.

David is the co-founder and partner of Cresco, a law firm focused on assisting entrepreneurs and companies in their business and fundraising activities. The Cresco experts counsel entrepreneurs, startups, scaleups, corporates, investors and research institutions with respect to complex corporate partnering transactions, including technology funding and monetization arrangements, research and development collaborations, co-creation projects and strategic alliances.

Through Cresco Academy they have also provide pro bono guidance to various research institutions, incubators and accelerators and the entrepreneurs selected in scaling programs.

After graduating in Law from KULeuven and Law & Economics at the Universities of Oxford, Rotterdam and Hamburg, David worked as business lawyer and governance expert at Allen & Overy, Capco, BNP Paribas Fortis and Consilio Partners before founding Cresco.

If you want guidance on how to successfully structure open innovation initiatives and ecosystems, you should attend David’s presentation at and&.
