Angela Washko, Feminist artist, game developer and founder of “The Council on Gender Sensitivity and Behavioral Awareness in World of Warcraft.”

In Point of View, Angela Washko is presenting four bodies of work including The Council on Gender Sensitivity and Behavioral Awareness in World of Warcraft (2012-2016), Heroines with Baggage (2011-2014), BANGED (2015-2017) and The Game: The Game (2016-2019). Point of View gives an overview of the practice of this American visual artist, gamer and feminist; from facilitating conversations about gender and discrimination within the game space and deconstructions of the role-playing games of her childhood to the elaborate and varied engagements with the world of pick-up artists in an attempt to create a conversation across disparate online communities: digifeminists and the manosphere.
